This large 72 x 48 painting leads you along the water by use of repetition of line and color. The transparent layering of foliage allows the viewer visual access to the other side of the riverbank where colorful patches of pattern depict activity. I love to use large painting anywhere they can possibly fit! On a wall behind furniture allows one to feel as if they are in the scene itself. I also place large paintings to fill almost the entire wall space available. People often initially feel they do not have the room for a really large work of art, but I disagree with this thinking. It can completely transform a space beautifully. This sold piece hangs in a long, wide hallway that leads your eye from one side of the home to the other........and the journey works beautifully!
