I first saw Mrs. Burlingame's work in the home of a friend. I immediately fell in love with the colors, shapes, and textures she uses in her work. I had the pleasure of getting in contact with Mrs. Burlingame and working with her directly on making a beautiful piece of artwork. The very first thing that struck me about her was that she sincerely wanted to make a piece of art for me that my husband and I would honestly love. We had never done anything like this before, and she went beyond what we would have ever expected. I had seen one of her pieces that really reminded me of my home and made me think of my children, and I knew that this was something I would love to have. We talked generally of colors and of what would be in the painting, but nothing too specific. When my piece was ready and I came to see it, Mrs. Burlingame assured me absolutely that if I didn't like it I was certainly under no obligation to buy it and said she could change any of the colors if they needed to be. Well, that certainly wasn't necessary. The second I saw that painting, I knew it was made JUST for us. I don't know how she gleaned from our conversations my absolute favorite colors and the colors we have throughout our home, but she did. I am so proud to have this painting in our home and it has so much special meaning for us. Every aspect of this process was fun and unique and Mrs. Burlingame was an absolute joy to work with. She has truly added such a special touch to our home.
